Our Programs

The Friends organization was created in 1985 when Westport’s needs for a Senior Center were realized.  Since then, we have worked with the town to modernize and maintain this historic former school building to accommodate a growing range of activities.

The Senior Center Gardens are filled with blossoms each year due to the hard work of our dedicated volunteers.

The Senior Center now offers Technology classes and has created a Tech Café where computers and iPads are available for use by seniors.

Knowing how important fitness is for our wellbeing as we age, the Senior Center offers exercise classes for both men and women.

Seniors, often elderly family members, can come to the Senior Center for one or more days each week, find opportunities for social contact, and participate in many and varied activities during the day.
