Today, more than ever, technology is integrated into just about everything we do as well as most of the products we use.
Responding to changing times, the Senior Center now offers Technology classes in the Tech Café. Classes are conducted on Wednesday afternoons from 1:30 pm – 3 pm. One-on-one help sessions are by appointment on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9 am – noon. Please call the Senior Center at (508) 636-1026 to register for a class or schedule a help session appointment. Recent classes have included: Using Google Apps, Using Smart Phones, Scanning & Printing Documents, Using QR Codes, and Computer Maintenance and Basic Security. The current class schedule is listed in the WCOA newsletter.
The Technology Program also has procured equipment for loan if you are in need of a tablet or iPad. Our technology coordinators will gladly give instruction on use.
